Taiwanese manga artist Zelitto, currently under SHOEI CONTENTS , has achieved a major milestone with his latest fantasy series 「左遷された【無能】宮廷魔法使い、実は魔法がなくても最強」, which debuted on Japan’s Young Jump (ヤンジャン！JUMP) platform. The series quickly soared to the top of the platform’s popularity rankings and received widespread praise from readers.

Fans flooded Zelitto’s official Facebook fan page, ZelittoArtwork, with congratulations, calling the achievement “incredible” and “nearly impossible for even Japanese artists to pull off.” The manga’s fantasy setting, compelling storyline, and high-quality manga artistry demonstrated its competitive potential in the international market and helped establish its place in the prestigious Jump lineup. Zelitto himself remarked with excitement:

“I guess, broadly speaking, I’ve now stepped into the world of Jump too!”

Following its explosive reception, Shueisha has announced that it will publish the first collected manga volume on March 18, with a light novel version scheduled for release on March 25.

Zelitto officially began his professional journey in Japan on January 7, 2025, with the series serialized on NicoNico Manga (ニコニコ漫画) through Dash X Bunko (ダッシュエックス文庫). The manga updates every Tuesday and marks Zelitto as the first Taiwanese manga artist in 15 years to publish under the Shueisha group.

「左遷された【無能】宮廷魔法使い、実は魔法がなくても最強」 is set in a fantasy world where 15-year-olds are considered adults and marriage-ready. In this land, there’s a popular legend: anyone who remains a virgin past the age of 25 becomes a wizard.

The story follows ジーグー, a swordsman who unexpectedly becomes a wizard at 25. However, his newly awakened magical skill—”Enhance”—seems useless in battle. Even worse, his swordsmanship fades as his magical abilities grow. Mocked as an “incompetent” wizard, he is eventually exiled from the village—once the place where he served as a guardian wizard.

Just as ジーグー faces setbacks, he encounters a mysterious girl in the forest, setting off on a journey toward the royal capital. Along the way, he forms new friendships and slowly uncovers the true power hidden within his “Enhance” magic.
